The Story of AOB Nutrition, by its founder.
My name's Andy, and I started AOB Nutrition back in 2009 from my college flat in Dublin.
From the very beginning, my mission was to provide high-quality supplements, at fair prices, with excellent customer service.
It all started on a social media site, but these were the days before Facebook was mainstream in Ireland. Anyone remember Bebo? Yes, we attracted our first customers through the social networking site Bebo.
In those early days, all of our customers were in Dublin – we didn't have a website or any means of taking card payments. I hand-delivered each order myself, and the customer paid cash on delivery.
If you were a customer in the early days, I may well have cycled your order to you in between college lectures.
With the help of my brother, AOB Nutrition's first website launched in January 2010, but it still lacked the ability to take card payments. It took until 2012 before we had both a courier partner and a payment provider to help bring AOB Nutrition to a nationwide audience.
Over the intervening years, we have continually improved and tweaked the business to become one of Ireland's largest online supplement stores, with a range of over 500 products.
According to Trustpilot, we are "Ireland's Favourite Online Supplement Store", with a rating of 4.8.
Today, we remain a totally independent company, still focused on providing the best supplements, at great prices, with industry-leading customer service.
